1) Green Bay Packers WON THE SUPER-BOWWWWL!
2) Cheese is good
Anyway, Wisconsin is suffering some serious problems with its teacher union, who recently had their pay and benefits cut drastically by Scott Walker, the state's governor. The teacher's union has been protesting Walker for three weeks now, and some Democratic senators have decided to take drastic measures on Walker's bill. After all, these Republicans had it coming. They've vetoed and filibustered plenty of our bills. Now it's PAY-BACK TIIIIIIME! Okay, Democrats, what's it gonna be? A small loophole? A filibuster?
Or fleeing the state for Illinois and not voting at all. That works, too. This really gives a new meaning to the phrase 'Run for the hills!' It's a shame, though. I really wanted some serious action here. But still, it does just as good of a job as anything else, right?
Wrong. The Repubs found a loophole (gee, what a surprise) that allows them to vote WITHOUT the Democrats. SMOOOOOOTH.
Democrats, you need to sack up. Seriously. The bill is now a law. So, guess who's going out to find those Dems and make them realize what they've done?
Me, of course. I have to do everything, don't I? I'm off to Illinois, where I'll track down these idiots and chew 'em out. I love this job.
Bye!
