Morse Code

I just saw the best movie ever. Okay, maybe not the best, but it's sure rivaling Tron: Legacy's claim to my top 10 list. It's called Source Code, and it may be the most confusing movie ever.
Now, you know what that means... it's SPOILER TIME! As you recall, highlight the following blank space if you want spoilers and see the invisible ink! Otherwise, wait for my next post.
What made this movie work was that it was a simple, understandable storyline for roughly the first three seconds. The plot: a helicopter pilot dies in a crash two months before the storyline takes place. A government-sanctioned scientist activates part of his brain, along with the brain of a victim of a Chicago expressway bombing. By linking the victim's memories with the pilot's mind, they are able to see back in time and discover who the bomber is.
It's really freaking intense. Finally, they have found the bomber and captured him as he tries to set off another bomb in real life. But the pilot's last wish is to be sent back into the program (Source Code) and live through the sequence one more time. He saves everyone on the train, calls his dad, handcuffs the bomber to a chair, and averts complete catastrophe in only eight minutes. But what he doesn't know is that Source Code doesn't just run a program, it actually creates an alternate reality. He couldn't figure this out before because every other time, he was either blown up or shot by the bomber. As I said, intense. So, he goes off and lives in a computer-generated alternate universe. Ta-daaah! If you're not confused by now, I'm impressed.
So, that was my epic overview of the Source Code storyline. Watch it. It's awesome. Fifteen out of ten stars!
Bye!
<< Oh, and he gets hit by a train. Don't worry, its not that gory.
