'Sup, pie eaters! Today is international pi day (because the date is 3/14), and to celebrate, my school had a pie eating contest and a pi reciting contest. I won the class championship with the digits in this blog's title. I MEMORIZED those.
I'm still worried about the crisis in Japan. Four explosions have rocked the nuclear reactors on the Japanese coast. And this is starting to scare me. It's JUST like a Godzilla (or Gojira, depending on which country you're from) movie. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in to original Godzilla movie, he was created by nuclear radiation. And where have we heard that before?
My best guess is that we will suddenly realize that every single famous movie will begin coming true, in chronological order. Finally, after robots enslave us, we blow up a Death Star, turn ourselves into blue aliens, and find a Russian sleeper spy in our midst, the Earth will be destroyed in 2012, following the exact plot of the movie '2012'. Someone should make a movie like that.
Speaking of disasters, why does humanity always try to predict its own doom? The Mayans thought the world would end in 2012. We thought the world's computers would go meltdown on January 1st, 2000 in the Y2K 'disaster'. And people are now saying that an asteroid named Apophis will hit us in the year 2036 on April 13th. Oh, and we could really predict it right down to the day? Amazing.
Apophis seems to have the most credibility, just because it could land on a Friday the 13th. I love little coincidences like that.
Bye!
